In the context of the recent approval of the amendments to the Local Accommodation Law, required that Local Accommodation establishments have a "Information Book" over the functioning of the establishment and its rules of internal use.
This one Information Book should be made available in four languages, Portuguese and English, and, at least, in two more foreign languages.
Where establishments are located in collective housing, the Information Book should also contain the regulation with the practices and rules of the condominium which are relevant to the accommodation and use of the common parts.
What information should the new Information Book contain?
The Information Book should internal usage rules of the LA unit.
This includes the rules on collection and selection of municipal waste, O operation of appliances and care to have to avoid disturbing the tranquility and the rest of the neighbors.
The Information Book should also contain the phone contact of the person responsible for the operation of the Local Accommodation establishment.

According to paragraph 6 of article 12 of Decree-Law no. 128/2014, of August 29, updated by Law no. 62/2018, of August 22:
«Local accommodation establishments are required to have an information book on the functioning of the establishment and its rules of internal use, including rules on the collection and selection of municipal waste, the operation of household appliances, noise and care to avoid disruptive disturbances affecting the tranquility and rest of the neighborhood, which shall also contain the telephone contact of the person responsible for operating the establishment. '
