BA Direto | Extranet: Start using the Extranet
If you do not have your Local Accommodation registered in the SEF, through the SIBA portal, you must register before the following points.
To be able to communicate through the BA Direto tool, you must have the option to send the Accommodation Bulletins the option Web service selected in the SEF register.
The following points can only be earned after creating a new BA Direto account.. This account must be enabled via an activation link sent to your email.
To enjoy our services you must complete the following steps:
1st - Create a BA Direct account
2nd - Complete the data of the accommodation operator
3rd - Subscribe to BA Direto (and Renewals) services
4th - Check / Change how SIBA Accommodation Bulletin is sent
5th - Add your Accommodation in BA Direto
After performing the previous steps, you can then proceed to the operational part:
6th - Sending of Accommodation Bulletins
7th - Consult the Bulletins awaiting completion

1º - Create a BA Direto account
First of all, it is necessary to create an account at BA Direto.
You can do it here: https://extranet.badireto.pt/
To do this, simply indicate a registration email and a password defined by you.
After this first step, it is essential that you validate the registration in your email to activate the BA Direto account.
You should consult your email address box and follow the activation link.
If you don't receive the email in the main box, check your spam box.
If you cannot find this email, you should contact us through the following email: support@badireto.pt
2nd - Complete the data of the accommodation operator
These data are used to issue an invoice for BA Direto services and must be the same as that contained in the SEF register.
Select the Profile in the home menu of the Extranet and you’ll have two sections: “Details User" and "Data Entity“.
Then select Data Entity:
After selecting Data Entity, press the button Enable and fill in the data of the explorer:
Before saving the data of the entity, verify that all the information is correct, paying special attention to the VAT number, since you will not be able to change it after submitting the data.

3rd - Subscribe to BA Direto services (and Renewals)
Access the Payments in the home menu of the Extranet:
Then, enter the number of accommodations you wish to subscribe to:
After selecting the number of Accommodations, press the Continue Payment:
A window will appear with the references Multibanco to make the payment:
Reference MB has the 10 days validity.
After you make the payment, the subscription status will be activated after a period of up to 10 minutes.
You can access the subscriptions through the list below the payment form.

4th - Check / Change how the SIBA Accommodation Bulletin is sent

When registering your Local Accommodation in the portal of SIBA, you should pay special attention to the option you choose as mode of submission of Accommodation Bulletins.
When making registration of your SEF Local Accommodation, through the SIBA portal, the option to choose is WEB SERVICE as shipping mode.
However, if you have already registered and the shipping method is different, to make this change must come into direct contact with the SEF.

5th - Add your accommodation in BA Direto
Access the Accommodation in the home menu of the Extranet to add subscribed accommodations.
It is on this tab that you can add, change or delete your accommodations, after the subscription of the service.
The accommodation data should correspond to those in the SEF, coinciding with the data coming from the Official issued by SEF, when registering a Accommodation Unit on the SIBA platform.
To register a new Accommodation on the BA Direto platform, press the Add:

6th - Sending of Accommodation Bulletins
Completing the Accommodation Bulletin is carried out in two phrases with two possible scenarios.
1st Phase
It should indicate what accommodation did the guests receive, how many foreign guests are part of this reserve and Check-in and Check-out dates.
After completing this data, you can choose the immediately fill of the remaining identification data of each guest or the email that form to your guest, so that he is the one to fill in his identification data.
2nd Phase
If you opted for a immediately fill enter the data of your foreign guests and press the button Submit.
No further intervention is required because the data will be automatically sent to the SEF.
In case you have selected the sending the form by email to fill out by the guest, shall, after having sent the remaining data, validate the accuracy of the information and send to SEF.
Please note the date of sending the Accommodation Bulletin. According to the law, information must be sent on the 3 business days after Check-in date.

7th - Consult the Bulletins waiting to be filled
On the Unfilled Newsletters you can consult the Accommodation Bulletins that continue to await completion by the guest.
Copy the link again
This feature will allow you to find the Bulletin to which the stay relates and you can copy the link again to send it back to your guest, reinforcing the need that exists regarding this communication to SEF.
Link validity
When you send a link to the guest, the guest has a deadline to be filled!
The link expires after 5 days from the check-in date and is no longer valid, disappearing from the list!
Upon being filled out and submitted by the guest, you will be notified via email and the link will also disappear from the listing.
Then you can find it waiting for it to be sent to SEF in the “Accommodation Bulletins” tab.
After filling in, the link is no longer valid.
Update of Bulletin List
The accommodation bulletins are updated every hour.
Therefore, after the guest completes and submits the Bulletin form, it will only appear in the list of Accommodation Bulletins when the next hour is met.
Practical example: If the guest fills out the Bulletin at 2:23 pm, he will receive the warning email instantly, but the Bulletin will only appear in the list of Accommodation Bulletins when he reaches 15:00.
NOTE: You can, at any time, create a new Bulletin for the same stay. When creating a new Newsletter it will generate a new link.
