THE ALEP (Local Accommodation Association in Portugal) prepared a Guide on the Municipal Regulation of Lisbon Local Housing.
The Municipal Regulations were approved at the Municipal Assembly meeting of 5 November 2019 and enter into force as soon as it is published.

One of the points addressed in this regulation was the new Containment Areas in Lisbon.
At the map number 1 we can see the new Absolute Containment Area which includes Baixa, Chiado, Av. Liberdade, Av. República and Av. Almirante Reis.
