Crescimento no número de dormidas de turistas estrangeiros

Com uma recuperação parcial de turistas estrangeiros em Portugal face ao periodo pré-pandemia, os dados do INE revelam que os cinco mercados emissores que mais dormidas proporcionam aos alojamentos turísticos nacionais estão em franco crescimento.

Tourism from countries such as the UK, Germany, Spain, France and the Netherlands saw double-digit growth in 2021.

Nesse artigo, verificou-se que o Reino Unido se mantém como o principal país de origem (16,6% das dormidas), seguido da Espanha (14,3%), Alemanha (11,9%) e França (11,8%).

In 2021, Ireland was the country that grew the most in terms of overnight stays, generating triple the number of overnight stays in 2020. In addition to Ireland, other countries such as the USA, Switzerland and Poland also doubled the number of tourists in Portugal.

The negative note goes to the drop in the number of overnight stays from tourists from Brazil, Canada and China.
